This depends on two factors: 1. the sex of the horse (additional options are available for mares compared to stallions and geldings) and 2. for mares or stallions, it is also decisive whether they are actively used for breeding. If you enter the last vaccinations for your horses, the next due date will be calculated automatically. The vaccinations are displayed in different colors (green: all ok, yellow: due, still in tolerance and red: overdue). A small colored syringe symbol is also displayed on the animal. To deactivate vaccination management for one anime, just set the interval to 0. No Status is displayed any more for this animal. Even if monitoring is deactivated, you can still enter vaccinations. You will just no longer be reminded of due dates.

The heat calendar is displayed under the following conditions:

  • dam is an active brood dam and currently not pregnant
  • the dam has had a registered foal heat within the last 9 days or
  • the dam has had a registered heat within the last 90 days

If a dam parturitioned more than 9 days ago and the offspring rosette has not been entered, the calendar is not displayed because it is then assumed that this is not desired.

First, a breeding event must be documented. After saving, you will then be shown the next important dates, such as pregnancy check or additional vaccinations. You can also be reminded of them as a Premium member. As soon as a pregnancy check has been entered with a confirmed pregnancy, the progress bar and pregnancy dates are displayed for this dam.

See previous question. As soon as a pregnancy check has been entered with the result that the dam is pregnant, the pregnancy indicator is activated for this dam.
